I don't think any motherboard has any DOS, Windows or other OS, though IBM computers back in the 1980s came with ROM BASIC.

I have motherboard from MSI; now I am scared away from Asus, though perhaps the newer, UEFI-equipped motherboards would be OK.

But there is also ASRock. I have no actual experience with ASRock, but the descriptions look attractive.

I am currently using an HP Elite 8000 Business Machine. HP actually sold
these with a FreeDOS OS (option). It has an Intel Gigabit (internal) for
which there is no working packet driver; but it was built with an
networking option to install a Broadcom gigabit card for which the B57.com
packet driver (reportedly) works. I also have an HP DC5700 (also sold with
a FreeDOS option) with the same (onboard) Broadcom chip and it works great.
I plan to network these in my home and will report the results when I get
the card and setup completed.
